Civita Di Bagnoregio

Just enjoyed a nice afternoon there. Civita is tiny! It is more like hiking through an Italian national park to a medieval ranger station that has gelato, food, and wine. The wine and food prices are not expensive. We did not get to eat lunch here as planned due to transportation timing. However, we got some gelato and a nice glass of Orvieto wine at a lovely wine bar. I will review the wine bar for you, but have to go now.

You can quickly get to Civita from Orvieto.

You can either go by bus or rent a car at Hertz across the street from Orvieto's train station.
Orvieto's about 70 minutes on a regional train out of Rome Termini station or 90 minutes by car from Siena.
