Ca' San Trovaso, Venezia

October 27, 2014

I wanted to highly recommend the lovely "Ca' San Trovaso" Inn in Venice, for any travelers interested in a quaint, quiet, and beautiful setting. The owners, Alessandra and Anna, were wonderful hosts! Both took an active interest in our welfare and comfort during our stay. Navigating the magical nooks and crannies of Venice upon our arrival, was a bit confusing! Anna was in touch with us via phone - giving directions, and met us near her Inn, to help us complete our journey.

A wonderful, and filling continental breakfast was brought to our room each morning. Free wine was offered at night, and conversation was plenty, with Alessandra and Anna! The area appeared safe, and was very quiet - our room overlooked a quaint canal.

I felt like we had gained 2 new friends in Alessandra and Anna. We will be visiting Venice again, and we will be staying at Ca' San Trovaso when there.

I highly recommend this beautiful Inn to any visitor to Venice who is looking for a quiet, safe, and friendly place to stay, at a very reasonable price.

Sincerely,
Rob Rocca

Adding my kudos to Rob's review. I've stayed in apartments in Venice for the last two trips, but my go to hotel for the last ten years has been Ca San Travaso. I've always had a good experience there. It's a very peaceful, convenient area with many inexpensive little eateries that cater mainly to the university students, and it's about halfway between the Accademia and Zaterra vapporetto stops. Once or twice we were lucky enough to get the ground floor triple across the sidewalk from the main part of the hotel. It has a small kitchenette and a private courtyard. (Now that I've divulged that info, I'll probably never get it again!)

We too stay here about seven years ago. It was wonderful...clean and quiet and near some wonderful restaurants. The morning breakfasts were delightful. Can't say enough good things

So glad to read your review. My husband and I are staying there in April.
