We are at end of wonderful holiday in northern Italy, now spending last fews days in Venice. I wish to check off "fegato alla veneziana" on my food list. Any suggestions for a good local (not touristy) restaurant that serves this dish and not too pricey? By the way, we had a lovely lunch at Il Paradiso Perduto today!

We had a nice dinner at Osteria da Alberto in Cannareggio last October. Everyone had seafood, but I noticed they do have Fegato alla Veneziana on the menu. It is a small place with a very local feel. If I recall correctly, the menu was Italian only (always a good sign).
