We found ourselves stopping every hour to fuel ourselves with a small cappucino because the cup size is so small in Europe. We happened upon the "Caffetteria S. Leonardo" in the Cannaregio part of Venice our last morning in Venice, to find Ester, a former Brit, offering the largest cup of cappucino to our complete satisfaction. She said in Britain, one is allowed to choose a small or a large cup so she ordered these coffee cups special. We were so pleased to find this great LARGE cup of cappucino in a roomy outdoor venue, slightly out of the crowds, where you could watch the ebb and flow of life. From the Canal Cannaregio, follow Rio Terra S. Leonardo east to where it forms a Y at the corner of Rio Tera Farsetti and Calle del Pistor. They serve breakfast and have sandwiches to eat there or pack for take away.
