Hello- I am looking for advice on the best hotel to stay in while visiting Capri. We would like to stay near the beach/shopping but also want that once in a lifetime view! Please help with recommendations on which area/ hotel would work best for us.
We also plan on going to Sorrento and Positano. Any advice on the best hotels and areas would be greatly appreciated.
We enjoyed our stays at Hotel Savoia in Positano and Grand Hotel De La Villa in Sorrento. Both hotels had wonderful views, convenient locations, well appointed rooms, and delicious breakfasts.
We did a day trip to Capri, so can’t recommend a hotel there. Enjoy your stay! One of our favorite tours in Italy.
Capri: Beautiful views, away from crowds, on pedestrian pathway, Hotel La Minerva. Excellent service, family owned.
We loved our Airbnb in Atrani. Only 73 steps to the front door but what a view!

I personally would not change hotels 3 times. But Sorrento has excellent transit for daytrips, which your other named towns do not. We stayed at the Ambasciatori, same parent company as the Grand, I think. I would consider promised luggage handling for selecting a hotel in Capri or Positano.
Capri is so much nicer (overpriced international boutique shops aside) that I don't see the need to sleep in Positano. We hired a car service for 8 hours on the AC, from Sorrento.
What month? These places book up minimum six months in advance.
