We were in Rome with a Rick Steves tour two years ago and were served delicious fried zucchini blossoms at a group dinner at a restaurant with outside seating under an extended canopy in Piazza Navona. In my opinion the best fried zucchini blossoms are in the Jewish ghetto. I highly suggest eating there instead of the Piazza Navona
