Need recommendations for B&Bs or Agriturismos in Sicily

Hello,

Going to Sicily with a family of four. Looking for recommendations for hotels, apartments, B&Bs or agriturismos in Erice, Agrigento, and Ragusa and/or Noto. Doesn't need to be large but centrally located with parking is a big plus. Looking to spend $150-180/night or less to accommodate all four family members. quad rooms are fine if available. Any suggestions would be MUCH appreciated.

Also wondering where to spend New Year's Eve: 1) in Sicily and if so where, or 2) Rome. Have 4 adults and 2 in their 20s so some party atmosphere would be appreciated (but NOTHING Times Square-like).

I only traveled with one other person, not as a family, so my advice may be limited. One hotel I really liked in Siracusa was Grande Alfeo Albergo (http://www.alfeo.it). I found a remarkably good rate considering what a nice, clean, and modern place it was. However, I wouldn't count on easy street parking very close by (may have to park at a garage 5 minutes away). Take a look at www.booking.com for accommodations - you'll see lots of reviews and can filter the listings by several criteria. As far as New Years Eve goes, I would say Palermo (if you elect to stay in Sicily).

Giardini Naxos (quick bus ride into Taormina and right across the street from the beach), we stayed at B and B Miramare. Not fancy , but some rooms had beach view and delicious terrrace breakfast. Piazza Armerina, to see the mosaics, we stayed at Torre di Renda, lovely working farm. Amazing views of the valley, nice pool and the best dinner we had in Sicily. In Agrigento, Demetra Resort. Nice rooms. No pool but could use one at an adjacent hotel, which we did. Cefalu, Hotel Tourist. Some rooms with view, some not. Walking distance to great restaurants and town, pool or swim in the sea. Can't recommend the monastery we stayed at in Palermo, scary. All were booked on Booking.com or Venere. All had parking. All under 100 euros. Not sure about quad rooms. We were 3 couples.
