I am trying to book the Hotel Belvedere in Assisi Italy for April 25, 2016? My emails are not being returned? Has anyone stayed there this year and how did you book your room?

We had the same issue when trying to book the Belvedere for a few days this past May. Attempted to book a few months early. Received the same treatment. Assumed that they were booked and not accepting further reservations.
We booked the Hotel Ideale which is located at the top of town. Fantastic little hotel. Good breakfast. Fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. Price was reasonable. We booked directly with the hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Ideale last year and it was very nice. If you are driving, they have a small parking lot.

Bob how do you get to the hotel? We parked in a large parking lot last time and walked up the steps to the city. Do you drive thru the city to get to the hotel? Thanks!

The Hotel Ideale is on the edge of the historic area and the road that runs up to it stays outside the historic area (it is not part of the ZTL). The hotel is near the Piazza Matteotti which contains a public parking lot.
