aparthotels Rome

Looking for any suggestions on aparthotels in Rome that sleep 5 adults (without being on sofa beds or rollaways). We don't want an airbnb and want the convenience of hotel amenities like breakfast and housekeeping.

Sorry, I don't have a recommendation; rather, I have a question. Have you stayed in an aparthotel before that included breakfast and housekeeping? Maybe someone else will reply with a different experience, but I've stayed at a few in Europe and none have included breakfast or housekeeping. One of the advantages to staying in an aparthotel is that you can make breakfast yourself because you have a kitchen. And cleaning and making the bed is usually up to you on a daily basis. I've found most aparthotels only include housekeeping about once per week. I've even stayed at one that required us to take out our trash at the end of our stay.

Perhaps you are thinking of a different type of accommodation?

Yes, we stayed in an aparthotel in Paris this summer which had daily housekeeping and an option to add on breakfast daily. It was the best of both worlds. I'm having a hard time finding a great option for 5 people, even splitting between 2 rooms.

Good to know! Perhaps there is one that will fit your needs in Rome. Have you searched this forum for "aparthotel" to learn the names of aparthotel chains in Europe? I know that there have been other topics on this forum about aparthotels where forum members have posted lists of popular aparthotel chains.

I have just had a 3 night stay at my first apart/hotel, an Adagio property in Strasbourg.
I added in the breakfast option to my booking and I thought it was worth it.
You do get housekeeping there once a week if you’re there that long.
Otherwise you can request it more frequently and pay extra, and you can ask for extra towels.
To be honest I wasn’t expecting much from my stay, but was pleasantly surprised!
Very clean , just a little worn round the edges.
There was a communal pay laundry room which I used.
Good breakfast with eggs of many types, some meats and cheeses, very fresh breads and pastries, cereals, juice, yogurt, etc.
The unit was compact but had a well equipped kitchenette and a balcony.
The linens were decent quality and the staff were friendly and helpful and someone on reception 24 hours a day.
I would definitely book another Adagio property again, or perhaps try a different one such as Citadines.
I don’t know about such places in Rome, but I’m sure they exist.
Let us know what you find.
