Antica Olivaia is a beautiful place...and Daniela and Marco make it even more so by being so warm and welcoming. I already know I will go back and spend more time there. Our stay felt much too short and I would highly recommend this place as an oasis away from the hectic pace of some of the more touristy areas nearby. We stayed in the Moraiola room which was extremely spacious and had an amazing bathroom with a wonderful rain shower. The view from the room was of the beautiful pool area, which I immediately took advantage of with a nice long swim. They have thought of every detail to make you feel at home from an abundant breakfast with homemade treats to delicious authentic dinners with local ingredients - Marco grilled for us the evening of our arrival which we much appreciated having traveled all day with no urge to hunt down a local restaurant for the evening. We were happy staying there in our new favorite place. Some local wine and a gorgeous sunset made it perfect...we only had to walk to our room after enjoying food and some great conversation together. Daniela and Marco are the extra touch that makes Antica Olivaia so special. You will never want to leave... I can't wait to go back again someday...
