Amalfi Coast Hotel for Honeymoon

Hello,

Traveling to Amalfi Coast in May for 7 nights for a honeymoon. We're splitting time between Sorrento and one of the towns on the Amalfi Coast (Still undecided).

The luxury 5 star hotels seem to be a bit out of our price range, but searching for a hotel/B&B in one of the Amalfi Coast towns with good view/pool/etc. Not wanting to spend more than 400 euro/night, but not sure if you can get something for that price during the month of May.

Also, is it worth it to book a place with a pool? I know May temperatures are 70's, but it gets chilly in the evening?

Thank you in advance.

Congrats on the wedding. You're late to be booking for spring, as May is very crowded , and those crowds sleep somewhere. Whatever you find, and hopefully it's cancelable, book asap, and then you can keep looking around. We stayed at the Hotel La Tonnarello on via Capo May, 2024. It had a beautiful view, and a private beach, but it was a ten minute walk into Sorrento.
Do your research on booking.com but then book directly.

Are you aware of the realities on the ground in the area, all the congestion, and how time- consuming it is to get around?

Have a great trip!

Pat,

My fiancé has been so she will be guiding me through the navigation part of things. She has warned me of the congestion.
Thank you for the tip!

We.stayed at Villa La Tartania in Positano.and loved it. Had a view of the water from.our balcony and I think breakfast was included but not sure. It was just maybe one block up from the beach. Sitting upstairs in the breakfast.room with the breeze going and looking at the water while having a.great breakfast was awesome. We sat there at night with a glass.of wine and just gazed over the water and yachts, magical. I hope it might be in your price range I just do not.remember. Good.luck.and enjoy.

Look at Hotel Minerva in Sorrento. The views of the bay are incredible, they have a rooftop pool, and they serve amazing breakfasts on the expansive terrace. The walk into town is simple.

And Hotel California in Positano. You are steps away from the bus station and they also serve a great breakfast on their terrace overlooking the ocean.

They were wonderful finds because of the lovely amenities and the price is great.
