Airbnb in Florence, 2nd stay in Corniglia and 3rd time at same B&B in Venice

Just some places we've used (a few more then once).
Caveat - anything over about 75 euro a night and I start getting twitchy, so these are all budget places, but happy with all! And all were stays from mid-Sept/early Oct.

When we stayed here, our grand total was $100 Canadian for 2 nights (!!), her prices have since gone up (would now be $150+ airbnb fees). About a 10 min walk to the bus stop (she did pick us up when we arrived) and then maybe 15-20 min to town center by the bus. Lovely, quiet, kitchen, laundry, beautiful yard, big...I would love to stay for a whole week.

We used arbaspaa to find our first stay in Corniglia in 08, and stayed at the same place again. Corniglia isn't for all - which is why we stayed there...less touristy, quiet, and a good workout if you have to use the stairs...lol. I think we paid about 75 euro a night, was just a small bedroom - first stay, the bathroom, tho large, was down on the next floor, 2nd stay we got a room with a tiny bathroom. Lovely view from window (we could see the next village over - Manarola, I think, my sense of direction sucks). Patio on the top floor with lots of sun and amazing views. I can't find a link to the one we used, but I'm sure it was called Corniglia Dreams.

Three visits to Venice, all three stays here. We had the standard double with bathroom across the hall (locked). Think it was about 65-70 euro a night. Lovely breakfast (breads, cheese, cereal, juice, hot drink), so convenient to the vaporetto stop(like, 1 min down an alley). Marco is a lovely fellow, let us keep our bags in a locked closet after checkout but before hitting the train, saving us locker fees. Quiet, no canal views or fridge in room, but there is a chocolate shop across the alley! ( http://www.viziovirtu.com/ ).

I would use (and have) all these places again. For budget minded folks who don't need lots of amenities...just somewhere somewhat convenient and quiet, not too far off the beaten path.

We have the same budget. :) So I appreciate the recs! Booked in cinque terre for 80 euro per night but trying not to go higher than that. Do you have any recs for Rome by chance?
