agriturismo In Tuscany without car

Looking for recommendations for agriturismo in Tuscany in late November that you can get to by train or driver. Looking for a place where you can have a good experience; cooking classes, wine tasting, olive oil tasting, extra.

It's gonna be a very challenging search. Farms are usually located in the countryside where public transit access is limited or non-existent. Drivers may or may not want to go all the way to such places without a hefty charge.

Roberto Becchi lives outside Siena. He does tours, has a B&B, a winery and makes olive oil. He has done some Tours with Rick Steve’s and I believe he is in the Rick Steve’s guide. During COVID, I ordered olive oil and wine from him. The wine was under the label of Madonnabella. Roberto has been in a Rick Steve’s episode. Also he was a partner in a wonderful short film about Tuscany you can find on Amazon. “Tuscany Beyond Expectations” It’s gorgeous and well worth the 30 minutes. I’ve watched it several times.

I’ m quite sure if you stayed with them, he’d pick you up in Siena. You could also consider a day tour with him.

EDITED TO ADD: If you'd like more answers, you might put your query under Destination Q & A. This particular section is few reviews following a stay.

The Tuscan farms are relatively small @ 20 acres, and just about every farm in the region has apartments and rooms for rent as an additional source of income. Unfortunately, trains cannot be everywhere and rental cars are required in order to experience the Tuscan lifestyle.

The roads of Tuscany are hilly and crooked, however they're well paved and well marked. We've never had any problems getting around in a rental car. And avoiding ZTL's in the cities is not difficult either.

You just have to follow the speed limits in towns because many have radar cameras that issue tickets as long as a year after your return from home.
