Greetings, my husband and I are planning a trip to Rome and Florence in Oct. and wanted to visit an Agriturismo hotel in Tuscany for a few days. We don't want to rent a car so does anyone have any suggestions on places we can get to easily by train/ bus? I did a quick search but it's hard to tell the location regarding means of transportation to get there. TIA
Almost by definition an agriturismo requires a car. These are farm houses scattered across the county side. Sometimes they might be close to a rural bus stop but that would be rare.
Thank you. I pretty much figured that but have heard there were some that were close that you could take a bus to.
You might target a few you are interested in and then contact them about recommended transportation...
Good idea thanks!
Meant to add earlier. Tuscan is not a valley but a vast area with many hills and little valleys and many lovely little villages and towns.
