Agriturismo Bonellino Vecchio

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this charming agriturismo just outside of Pienza and had a wonderful experience.

Our hosts, Lara and Massimiliano were warm and welcoming, and were always inquiring as to our satisfaction. Location is superb for wine and food enthusiasts - 15 minutes to Montelcino and 30 to Montepulciano, and only 5 minutes from the perfect rennaisance town of Pienza.

Accommodations were spotlessly clean and while not modern, were well appointed and comfortable. The views from each room's patio were a Tuscan dream. My DW and I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Is it easy to get to without a car? I'll be in venice, florence, rome, siena....what is it closest to? I know: look at a map! which I will but would still like some feedback! TIA

Bonellino Vecchio is located about 5 minutes outside of Pienza, making it ideal to visit that charming town, as well as Montepulchiano and Montecilno. As noted in many threads on this forum, a rental car is pretty much essential to efficiently enjoy and visit all the wonderful towns of southern Tuscany. While I would never consider driving in Rome or Naples, I found driving in Tuscany to be stress free and quite enjoyable.
