After visiting Pompeii last week, we stopped for lunch in Naples and enjoyed an excellent meal, along with the most spectacular view of Vesuvius and the city itself, at the Vesuvio Roof Bar & Restaurant atop the Una Hotel. The hotel is directly across the street from the train station, so getting there was a madcap adventure (but we had a great driver!). The view from on high was the perfect way to cool off and watch the daily eruption of activity that Naples is known for. Enjoy!
