A great B&B in Venice!

My wife and I recently visited Venice and stayed at the B&B Corte Campana. We use Rick's guide books almost every where we go in Europe and this B&B is probably one of his best recommendations we've found.

It's about a 2 minute walk from Piazza San Marco. Ricardo and Grace were fantastic hosts. We were shown where the best restaurants are as well as where to get the best gelato!

The rooms are located overlooking a private courtyard - thus making for the quietest 3 nights we had all vacation.

We can't say enough positive things about Corte Campana!

Thanks for the heads up. Looking to stay in Venice in the Spring. Can you give us an idea of rates for rooms? Nothing on their website about prices.

Pat,

We stayed in the "Parents" room and it was about 130 Euro a night.

I don't know if the other rooms are the same rate or not, or if that was a seasonal rate.

If you do book, book early as this is Ricardo's family home and there are only those three rooms.

Tell them Duane & Teri sent you. :)

Hello,

I statyed at a great B&B called Al Teatro....its convenient to St.Marks Square, but tucked away from the crowds- scenic gondola views from your bedroom window-fabulous host Eleonora grew up in Venice and this was her family home-frescoes on the ceiling in the dining area-clean,comfortable, with modern bathroom, great air conditioning, good breakfast, a discount if you pay cash-easy online booking-she speaks good English-I loved it there She also has another property in Venice as well.
