3 to 5 day tour of tuscany leaving from Rome

We are on an extended trip with Italy as our final stop. We do not wish to rent a car and can not afford a private guide. We have been looking with out success for an escorted trip in Tuscany for 3 to 5 days. Any leads would be appreciated.

My first suggestion would be to get your question in the proper section. You posted in the review of Italy section. So log on, copy your question, hit the delete button and back to the travel form and select "Destination Q & A, then select Italy, and post your question. It will get better responses since you are in the area that questions are asked.

Go and visit Tarquinia and its etruscan sites! Buy its beautiful book at the necropolis, you will learn a lot. Also visit Pittigliano and the terme di Saturnia,You will love it.
If you ve got good eyes and a good English guidebook, you should be ok.
Besides many museums have English guided tours, so just ask there.
In other very touristic cities such as Florence, Sienna and to a lesser extent Pisa, I advise you to book in advance.
Go on the website of each city you wish to visit. Then stop in at least one of the 3 cities I just mentioned. To my mind, I love
Florence and Sienna but not Pisa. Not far from Pisa is Lucca, much nicer and more interesting than Pisa.

Yes, quickly repost this thread under 'Italy' before you accumulate too many responses, although not that many people will be in the 'Italy Reviews' section to even see your question :-(

(OR...ask the Webmaster to move your thread.)

Are you absolutely against train travel? Where exactly do you wish to go?
