Excellent Hotel located directly on Canal but far enough away from the main action. Attentive staff, spacious rooms, great shower and bath accommodations.

another good Venice stay: Patronato Salesiani Venezia- calle San Domenico 1281, sestiere Castello. simple, but clean and well-priced: 100 Euros/night (2 people). included breakfast and free Wi-Fi. we especially loved the location, 15 min. walk from St. Mark's square, beautiful gardens on one side and Via Giuseppe Garibaldi on the other side, lined with small shops and restaurants. we stayed there 6/25-6/26/2014.
