We had two excellent meals at Trattoria La Torre just off the square (Via Salicotto 7-9). Home made pasta with meat sauce and wine for a very reasonable cost.

We were four of us. The meal with wine, pasta and 2 desserts was just over 50 euro's.

I ate here in 2007 and it was the best meal my entire trip! I recommend and intend to go back this summer!

I wish I could remember the name of this place..Sorry this isn't more helpful. We ate at a little family restaurant that is right on the corner as you head down the hill, as you get off at the bus stop.. Best food and wine of the trip and not expensive. Great memory for us!
