Hotel Golden, near Borghese gallery, walking distance to Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, pantheon, close to buses, and underground. Family owned and run. Fabulous service and great breakfast. Can't be beat!

We also enjoyed the "River Palace Hotel" in Rome. It was within walking distance of the Fountain of Trevi, the Spanish Steps, the Victor Emanuel Monument and the Pantheon. It received great reviews from Trip Advisor. They offer a wonderful breakfast in their lovely dining room. They also offer two free computers, in a computer room off their lobby.

We loved Hotel Savoy on via Ludovisi. Stayed there twice, staff was great. Location perfect
