I saw the Newgrange feed this morning. The narration was really very, very informative in terms of explaining the site. Scholarly yet accessible.

It was also very interesting the amount of research which was done while the site was closed due to Covid in 2020 to 2021, and which has a link to the research document on the video.

I had meant to see the Stonehenge feed but had heavily overslept having been up in the middle of the night twice this week for live events in the Pacific North West.

I watched New Grange in 2020. Very moving.
At Stonehenge, once the earliest morning light was finished, it was not as striking. The webcam never got a shot of the sun and once the sun had risen to the height of the stone tops, it was obscured by clouds.
On the contrary, the ray of light at New Grange was palpable.
