Which Dublin hotel would be a better choice?

This is the fourth time we've attempted this trip due to COVID! I can't believe how much prices have gone up, but finally, we get to see Ireland. My husband and I are staying two extra nights after our RS Heart of Ireland Tour. I can't decide whether to move to Cassidy's Hotel , which costs less or just stay the two extra nights in the RS tour hotel, Iveagh Garden Hotel. They both provide breakfast. They are 4.5 km apart and I'm not sure which would be better for continued site seeing. We will be flying home from Dublin to California after this stay. Is anyone familiar with the two and can give me some advice? Thank you.

I can comment on either hotel, as I stayed elsewhere in Dublin, but if you change hotels, you waste time, and why would you want to do that?

I haven't stayed at either hotel but looking at a map, Iveagh Garden Hotel is in a more central location. Cassidy's is less expensive because it's north of the River Liffey and further from the most popular attractions.

...just stay the two extra nights in the RS tour hotel...

That is what we've done several times. It will be the best "least time wasted" option. Just think about the hassle of packing up, checking out, getting to the new hotel, checking in, and unpacking.

Another vote for the Harding Hotel. I stayed there before moving to the Ireland tour hotel. I loved being able to walk around Temple Bar and Christ Church across the street is very interesting. One caution though, the bar is very busy and gets loud and my room was 2 floors above it. If you are a light sleeper I would ask for a room not on the side of the bar or bring very good ear plugs. I remember the food in the hotel restaurant was very good, too.
