Which distillery?

I would pick Kilbeggan as it's the longest established and best known of the two. Well worth a visit.

Hi again crooney55. I realized overnight that Powerscourt opened a distillery at their property last summer. It’s brand new but the master distiller is Noel Sweeney who I believe left Kilbeggan to join Powerscourt. Powerscourt has not been in operation long enough to have produced its own whiskey onsite. So the Fercullen Whiskey of Powerscourt actually comes from Cooley but it was distilled and aged under Noel Sweeney. So if you end up at Powerscourt you could enjoy gardens and whiskey!
