where to stay in the Ring of Kerry

I will be traveling from Dingle to Cahersiveen on Thursday(wanting to stay about 4 hours there), and then traveling counter clock wise around the ring> I know it will be a long day. So I'm looking for suggestions of where to stay that night. The next day we will be going to the Blarney Castle, from there to Cashel and ending up in Dublin on Sunday. Also any suggestions for lodging around blarney castle and castle would be helpful.

Kenmare is at the end of the RoK if you are going counter clockwise and would not be too far to Blarney the next day.
In Kenmare we stayed at a very nice B&B called Rockcrest House and in Cashel we stayed at O'Briens Cashel Lodge, a B&B in a historic building at the foot of the Rock of Cashel and across the street from Hore Abbey. We loved it.
BTW you may hear that Blarney Castle is hokey, and kissing the stone may well be, but the castle is a very attractive ruin and the grounds are really nice. There is good shopping at the Blarney Woollen Mills. They have a bit of everything Irish. If you are into ruined castles check out Ballycarbery Castle on the RoK near the two big ring forts.
