Where to stay in Dublin

We are spending 4 days in Dublin the end of Sept. and are looking for affordable accommodations for 2 couples. We tried air b&b but only found 2bed/1bath apartments and we are looking for 2 baths. Does anyone know of reasonable guest house/b&b/Hotel? Thanks

We stay in Dun Laoghaire, which is a 20 minute DART train ride to the center of Dublin, There is also a direct bus connection from Dun Laoghaire to the airport. There a several nice B&Bs at about half the price of Dublin center - we have stayed at the Ophira and the Windsor Lodge.

We stayed here a couple of years ago: http://www.leesonbridgehouse.ie/ and liked it very much.
It's about a 12 minute, level, walk to St Stephens Green. Reasonable rates. Nice location. Nice breakfast included in the rate. There's a bus stop right in front that will take you down to Grafton St. if you don't feel like walking, and there's an AirLink shuttle pickup point about 20 yds. up the street that will get you to the airport in about 25 minutes.

We stayed at Ariel House B&B, it is outside of the city center in the Ballsbridge neighborhood of Dublin. Very quiet and a great breakfast. We took the Dart to the city and it is very nearby.

The Harding Hotel right in the center of Dublin is a very nice, reasonably-priced hotel. Within walking distance to just about everything.

Have you thought about an apartment through Trip Advisor? When my 6 person family was there in 2014, we found a 3BR/2 bath, with kitchen and washer/dryer, for three nights for only 777€. It was two blocks west of O’Connell Street and a few blocks north of the river. Even better, it was just around the corner of the Hop On/Hop Off bus stop, which we used as our primary source of transport around the city for two days. They even had a driver available to pick us up at the airport and drive us right to the apartment managers office for a minimal fee.
