We have 3 nights in Dublin. We will be arriving at 10:30 pm on May 30 and departing at 9:30 am on June 2.We are trying to maximize our time. Where would you suggest we stay, in town or by the airport?

The Dublin airport is several miles outside of the city, so you definitely want to stay in town. I would recommend avoiding staying in the Temple Bar area, as it gets loud at night. We stayed at Staunton's on the Green which is on the south side of St. Stephen's Green. I would highly recommend this hotel, as it is walking distance to just about everything, but quiet at night. The staff were accommodating and the included breakfast was very good. But there are plenty of great places to stay in Dublin.

Definitely stay in town. We stayed at the B&B Number 31 just south of St Stephen's Greene, and were able to walk everywhere. It is our all-time favorite hotel!!
