What is your favorite restaurant in Dublin?

We have 3 nights in Dublin and would like suggestions for restaurants that meet as many of the following criteria as possible: excellent food, Irish charm/history/character, possibly live music, takes reservations (or otherwise would not be a lengthy wait), not exclusively a seafood restaurant, fun atmosphere or nice ambience.

Thanks

Although it was a few years ago, we really enjoyed The Seafood Cafe by Niall Sabongi

We love The Bank on College Green. On Dame street. Good food. Piano music sometimes. And an amazing place to see. Used to be a bank. Not fish & chips. Even has a Book of Kells replica by the door. Went there twice last week

Matt the Thrasher is good for seafood. We’ve been twice now, once before Covid, once after.

We really enjoyed Gallgher's Boxty House in Dublin. A boxty is a traditional Irish potato pancake. They have a number of different variations we tried and all were quite good!

The Chester Beatty Museum has an excellent cafe featuring Mediterranean foods served buffet style. We’ve stayed near there and stopped in daily for lunch or dinner. The Museum is a must see each time we are in Dublin.
