The hubby and are returning to the west of Ireland next January and are hitting the following towns/areas: Dingle, Doolin, Achill Island, Clifden, Westport and Galway. Bummed to find lots of B&B's closed during this time. Any suggestions on hotels or year round B&B's in these spots?

If you look at the accommodation listings on www.discoverireland.com you can check for B&Bs in those areas. The listing says whether they are open all year or not. You can also order a B&B directory that shows them all.

A couple of other options are: Smoothhound.com, very easy to use. Also call the Irish tourist board, they have a website which lists their toll free US number and they are a wealth of info. Also website, BandBireland.com. Enjoy.
