Kinda crazy question - we usually travel with refillable water bottles. Are there water fountains at most stops to refill them?
What places are thinking about when asking about refilling those water bottles?
If you stop off in a cafe for a drink or meal, they may be prepared to refil a water bottle if you ask nicely.
what he's thinking about are the pubic taps which are slowly appearing at airports and railway stations where water bottles can be filled up. They are not that common on busy British stations ( I can think of one not far from me where they struggle to keep any water supply working.....), I would guess a quiet irish station probaby won't but the staff might be helpful.
Yes thinking railway stations and tourist sites.
Pack a couple of extra bottles - they don't take up much space and fill up every morning before you leave. It will be a lot less hassle and you won't be wasting time trying to find somewhere to top up your bottle or waiting for it to fill up. Life is too short for that!!!
the Refill Return app works in the UK - I don't know if it is in the Republic
