Walking Tour Suggestions Dublin

We will be visiting Dublin in September for the first time and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for Walking Tours of Dublin. We are interested in architecture, music, history and culture. I also am interested in finding out if anyone has taken the Green Mile Walking Tour of St. Stephen's Green.

I recommend the Historical Walking Tour of Dublin. It is the one where the guides are history graduates of Trinity College. The guide for the one I was on was not only a history graduate but a history professor at another college and was excellent.

Hi Lois,

I took the Historical Walking Tour of Dublin (historicaltours.ie), and it served as an excellent introduction to the city for me. I also took the 1916 Rising tour (1916rising.com) with Lorcan Collins, and it was a real highlight of my time in Dublin. I was interested in that period of history anyway, but Lorcan was quite amazing with his stories.

Although not walking tours, I also did the Musical Pub Crawl and Literary Pub Crawl, and both were well worth it!

I didn't do a walking tour of St. Stephen's Green, but when I was there (January 2019) there were a number of information stations regarding St. Stephen's Green and its role in the 1916 Rebellion. I don't know if that was a temporary or permanent exhibition.
