Hello,
Unfortunately I did not pull the trigger for the 8 days in Ireland, quick enough and I missed our dates for our honeymoon.
We are signed into the wait list but, does anyone have any experience with getting in from the list?
Please help!!

Not a direct answer to your question, but there is still the option for you to travel independently to Ireland and have a good honeymoon during your desired dates. It sounds like you really wanted to do the tour, but if that is not a possibility, look for alternatives. Perhaps book your flights as if you had been moved off of the waitlist and on to the tour. Then book refundable hotel rooms that you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance as the "back up plan."
If you make it on to the tour, simply cancel your hotel reservations. If you don't make the tour, go ahead and travel to Ireland anyway and use your back up plan.
If you haven't already, call the office to see how many others are ahead of you on the wait list.
If you don't have enough time for the Best of Ireland, how about Heart of Italy (yes, I know that's not Ireland, lol!!). That's one of the shorter tours and is a lot of fun!
I'd say WING IT!!!
Why not find a terribly romantic place like Parknasilla (near Sneem) or The Leenane Hotel (near Killary Harbour/Connemara) and base yourself out of one glorious place for the week!?
Day trips/romance/sea weed baths...... enjoy your honeymoon and each other, save the whirlwind tour with strangers for another trip!!

PS - nothing against the tours -- but honeymoon?? Wing it!
