VRBO or airbnb places in Dublin

Hello,
I thought I saw a recommendation for an airbnb or similar place in Dublin on this site, but did a search and can not find it. We are looking for a place to stay near Dublin city center for a few nights in September 2019. The place could also be a BnB.
Thanks!

Something worth knowing: the Irish government is cracking down on AirBnB. There's a new law passed in the last few months that will take effect (IIRC) in June, greatly restricting AirBnB and other so-called "short term rentals" in certain locations (those with a perceived shortage of housing and high prices - Dublin is specifically mentioned). There are still lots of details to be worked out, and I think a fair amount of confusion and uncertainty, but anyone planning to stay in an AirBnB in the impacted areas should be aware of the shifting ground and proceed with some caution (and a Plan B if the "reservation" vanishes as part of the crackdown).

Personally, I'm planing a trip to Ireland in summer 2019, but will not be AirBnB-ing it (at least not there in Dublin).

"The place could also be a BnB."

We stayed at Annagh House in May 2018. In the Clontarf neighborhood: on Dublin Bay, not IN city center, but an easy 10-15 minute bus ride from right outside the door. Good value, excellent breakfast, clean well-maintained rooms. Never waited more than 5 minutes for the very reliable city bus service. We also found good restaurants in the neighborhood on the nights we choose not to go back into the city.

Thanks for the information. I heard some chat about the short term stay places becoming an issue in Dublin, but sounds like they are going to move forward and restrict these places. Will develop a back-up plan. This is happening in parts of our city as well.

I will check the suggested BnB. Thank you!

Hello,

We used bnbireland.com on our trip. Ireland thrives off of bed and breakfast! We stayed in some pretty amazing places.
