Going to Ireland in September. 2 questions. 1: Can I buy a basic Vodafone at Dublin airport? Where to catch bus to Galway from Dublin airport? And, would you buy ticket in advance online?

I'm not sure about a specific Vodafone phone - but there is a phone store "Simlocal" in the Terminal 1 arrivals hall in Dublin Airport selling local sims and value phones. (If you're arriving from T2 - it's only a few minutes walk away).
There are several buses from Dublin Airport to Galway - Bus Éireann, CIty Link (Eireagle) and GoBus. No major advantage purchasing online -with Bus Éireann you'll save 10%, though you will be tied down to going with them. My suggestion would be to just arrive and pick the next departure that is going - most of the departures will be express to Galway and arrive in Galway CIty Centre or the bus station.
