Viking cruise

We like Viking a lot and are regular customers. We went on Viking’s “Iceland’s Natural Beauty “ last month. The cruise is 8 days, with 7 of them being useable. The itinerary circumnavigated the country.

Late July worked well weather wise, but we did loose one port stop because of gale force winds!

The Golden Circle route was very crowded and full of tourists busses, including ours. Everything else was much quieter and less congested. We certainly saw sights and geography that we have never seen before. This last comment is a matter of personal taste. As interesting as Iceland was, we actually liked Alaska better.
