I'm quite excited about my upcoming trip (3.5 weeks and counting) and my last hurdle is food since I'm a strict vegetarian but also someone who loves experiencing cultures through food.
From my research most restaurants offer a Mediterranean or Asian inspired dish as their veg dish. I'd like to eat as much Irish cuisine as possible within my restrictions and steer away from foods I can easily find here at home. Most of my accommodations offer breakfast with veggie options so I'll be able to start off each day with a hearty meal.
Any recommendations for a few Irish dishes which are meat/poultry/fish/seafood free (no animal based broth or fat used)? I eat dairy but avoid eggs (baked goods with eggs are ok).
As always, I very much appreciate any advice and/or suggestions!
