I have been reading previous posts on this forum and others in regard to the VAT. Some commentators said that after they got home, they had a charge made to their credit card; not a refund. Those posts seem to have been a few years ago. Have the problems with the VAT been fixed or the process improved in recent years? I don't plan on making any major purchases, but I don't want to find additional charges on my card either. Many thanks for any comments.
