Trying to decide if going to the Park is worth it while we are in Belfast. Any comments ?
I had a great time there. It has a number of great exhibits, and it's interesting to see how they portray the American buildings built by Irish immigrants in the U.s.
Worth it, especially if your heritage traces to Ulster. The park does a great job explaining the history of the out-migrations that began around 1715, and there's a research center adjacent to it with helpful and knowledgeable docents who can help you explore old ship manifests, etc. if you really want to immerse yourself in a roots quest for the day.
