We'd like to travel by ferry via Dublin/Liverpool, but we're not finding rates for strictly foot passengers? Is this not available on any lines? The flights on Ryanair aren't exactly fitting our schedule. I've read in previous forums of travelers having the same issues, but nothing on the ferry websites states as such. Is this a time of day, time of year issue? Thanks!
Is this a time of day, time of year issue?
Might be, might not. But since you give NO clue about your time of day or time of year it is hard to say.
June 15-June 21 2016. Anytime of day.
The only ferry line serving that route is P&O and it does not appear to take foot passengers. I think you'll have more luck with Dublin-Holyhead by Irish Ferries or Stena Line.
Here is some information on sail-rail for Dublin to Holyhead, and train on to UK destinations -- http://www.seat61.com/Ireland.htm#.Vyfjwn0pDMK
You can take Irish Ferries from Dublin to Holyhead and then a train to Liverpool for €41-€47 -- http://www.irishferries.com/uk-en/to-ireland-from-britain/
