Hello - We are 4 adults that will be in Dublin in mid-September. To get around we'll walk or take public transit, but we may do some trips by rideshare. Is Uber the most "prevalent" ride-sharing service, or is there one that's used more/cheaper, etc? Our lodging will be in Drumcondra on the north side of Dublin.

Uber and Lyfts are taxis in Dublin. You can use the app to get a car but the fare is the same. Or you can just walk out and hail a taxi.
I believe Uber exists here but it will only let you hail standard metered taxis. There is also the more common Mytaxi app available. "Rideshare" is not a phrase that means anything here.
