I have a Dublin airport departure at 6:20 a.m. I am staying at Trinity College. Should I go to the airport after a music pub crawl and just wait? Or can I get 4:00 a.m. public transportation to the airport from Trinity? Has anybody "napped" in the airport? Any advice?
Thank you!
Air Coach runs through the night from Trinity College to the airport every 30 minutes.

Here's a resource to "Sleeping in Airports" as well. I've only used it once, when I was stuck in Atlanta due to wintry weather and it was generally helpful.

We took a 430 AM taxi from the Temple Bar area near Trinity College with no problem. We contacted the taxi company the night before and scheduled the pick up, the driver was waiting for us in front of our B&B 10 minutes before the scheduled pick up. The price of the trip for my wife and I was around $35. This was really simple and not stressful and for me was easier than the bus, no waiting for additional stops or extra time for the bus travel, or crowded bus seating (that may not be a problem at that time of the morning but the trip down to Temple Bar was pretty packed). I don't recall which taxi service we used as the B&B made the call for us. This is the way to go, you can even spend some of your left over Irish money for the cab and tip!!! We did enjoy the musical pub crawl and the trad music they provided.
I'm not a spring chicken anymore, so much prefer the convenience of a door to door taxi at that hour of the morning! Fare will be around €30.
