I will be taking a back to back trip to Ireland July 14 to the 26th , 3 day separating until Scotland the July 29th . Is there anyone else doing this same schedule? Has anyone done these in the past? I am a new trailer, did Rick's 21 all Europe last summer and need some feed back about the layover. Should I stay in Belfast or Edinburgh for the 3 day lag? Also any suggestions form those who have done these as to must sees when I am on my free time. Thx Jeff in SF.

We did the 7 day ireland and Scotland in April 2018. I wished we stayed extra In Edinburgh. I also have done the 14 day ireland in 2014 before the changed the itinerary to stay in Belfast. But I was not impressed with Belfast but that’s just me. We enjoyed Edinburgh so much and wished we stayed longer.

Thank you. I have seen a number of others saying they were not impressed with Belfast. I will think about spending the gap time in Edinburgh. Do you have any particular recommendations for free time in Edinburgh?
