Husband & I driving from Dublin to Galway & Killarney, looking for advice on which to travel to first, Galway or Killarney, only have 4 days then back to Dublin to get ferry back to London.

It will take 5 Hours Dublin to killarney
3 hours Killarney to Galway
3 hours Galway to Killarney
Suggest seeing either Kerry or Galway and spend time in one location
There is a lot to see in each including day trips
Killarney: Ross Castle / Muckross House and Gardens / local area / gap of Dunloe 1 day
Dingle / Slea head 1 day
Ring of Kerry / Kenmare 1 day

I think the previous poster meant to mention that Dublin to Galway is also about three hours. I think I would choose to go first to Galway, then head south to Killarney. It's a more straightforward route. You don't say if you are arriving from the US on that first day, but if you are, the shorter drive would be good. Either way, you face about 12 hours of driving between the three places, in addition to whatever driving you do during the days.
