We love Ireland, and although it would be wonderful (I hear) to spend a few days in one spot, we love the music (and the associated Guinness), so we always stay near the relevant bars. Unless we want to go to the same bar (or maybe the same few bars) every night, the alternative seems to be lots of moving around, which is what we've done so far. Renting a house for a month would be fun but needing to pay for additional lodging afield from the home base seems silly. Short of hiring a driver or taxi, how do others like us handle it? Even without a Guinness, driving back to a home base at night isn't attractive.
