Travel from Inis Mor to Cliffs of Moher to Limerick

My family consisting of 5 adults are traveling to Ireland this October. We will be spending a couple of nights on Inis Mor. We are hoping to take the ferry to Doolin from Inis Mor and very briefly see the Cliffs of Moher before making our way to pick up our car rental in Limerick.

We know it will be a very long day, but we are hoping to (at least partially) drive the Ring of Kerry before making our way to Kinsale where we will spend the night.

Any suggestions on how we can best complete this day? We appreciate any thoughts and directions.

Have I read this correctly? You are wanting to take the ferry from Inis Mor, have a brief look at the cliffs of Moher, then make your way to Limerick to pick up a car before driving to Kinsale as well as doing part of the Ring of Kerry ALL IN ONE DAY?

The first ferry leaves Doolin at 10am and takes 35 minutes to get to Doolin. That is the easy bit. How are you planning to get from Doolin to Limerickincluding a brief look at the Cliffs? Are you using public transport? I haven't gone into all the details but it looks like bus to Ennis and train to Limerick? (Hopefully someone who is more familiar with the timetables will be able to help out here. Journey times seem to be just under three hours... The direct route from Limerick to Kinsale will probably take 2.5 hours to drive (may be longer depending on how long you have to wait to pick up the car). Going via Killarney will up the drive time to 3.5 hours withough the Ring of Kerry. The drive between Kilarney and Kenmare is good.

What about lunch/comfort breaks?

I don't see at all how this is possible. Way too much time spent in transit. Please slow down to enjoy Ireland and definitely skip Ring of Kerry.
