Going to wedding at Ballynahinch Castle ,Connemara in October.
Leaving Castle next day which is a Sunday and need transportation to Shannon airport.
Could I take a bus or train to Shannon Airport?
Keep in mind this is a Sunday.

I know there are buses that travel between the Connemara region and Galway, and from there you can take a bus down to the Shannon Airport. However given the fact that the castle appears to be in a fairly remote area, it doesn't appear that the buses will take you directly there. I'm sure the front desk at the castle can also help you with ideas or possibly can arrange transportation back to the airport for you: http://www.ballynahinch-castle.com/location
Getting there by car is probably going to be the fastest way. There are several car rental dealers that are based at the airport. You can check on www.autoeurope.com.
