We are planning to go to Ireland in March 2018. Will the NEW Rick Steve's Ireland book be available to purchase before that? I see he has a new one coming out in the "spring" 2018, but I don't know what month is considered spring.

According to the Amazon website, the 2018 version of the Ireland book is available on December 5, 2017.

I met some American tourists on a beach (watching horse racing!) last month, and they had an interesting tip. They were carrying around the Rick Steves book that was 11 (I think) years old. They said "we figure, if they B&B's he mentions back then are still around, today, they MUST be good!" I thought that was a great way to use a guide book!
(of course, there are new experiences, museums, etc..... but still - great thinking!)
