Any suggestions on best way to get from Shannon Airport to Ennis without renting a car?
On the bus, twice an hour, alternates between the local bus #330 and the long distance #51 to Galway.
The #51 is at five minutes to each hour, takes 30 minutes.
The #330 is at five minutes past each hour, takes 65 minutes.
In August, we arranged for John Sheedy to pick us up in Galway and drive us (4adults) to Doolin. After we finished our time in Doolin, he picked us up at our B&B and drove us to the Shannon airport to pick up a car. He was great to communicate with, on time, and told us a little bit about the countryside when we drove. I found his rates to be reasonable for private transportation, and it was money well spent.

It’s been almost 10 years, but we took the bus. It was right outside the airport terminal, we paid when we got on board and then it was a 2-3 block walk to the Old Ground Hotel where we were staying.
