Hi,
Myself and partner arrive to Shannon airport at 5:40am on a Friday after a long flight. We want to get to Cobh without renting a car. Any tips on drivers vs busses? I hear busses are easier than train.

For the last leg, from Cork to Cobh there is no bus, only the local shuttle train from Cork.
The bus station in Cork is across the river from the train station, so I suspect it is easiest to get the bus from Shannon to Limerick, then train from Limerick (Colbert) to Limerick junction, change for Cork, then again at Cork for Cobh.
If you prefer Bus 51 Shannon to Cork Bus Station then walk or taxi back to the railway station.
