It looks like the city link express may be a better bet than the train. Has anyone used this ? We will be leaving Dublin on a Fri. mid to late morning 28/7. Our hotel is the the castle hotel on Gardiner row, pretty central..

This worked well, did take taxi from hotel to bus stop area.

We just did this. The bus was really easy. The bus leaves from the airport whereas if you take the train you still have to get from the airport to the train station. We took the 3 hour direct bus without stops. We stayed at the Park House Hotel and the bus station is right behind the hotel. Very convenient.
